The prime responsibility will be to convert potential projects to successful business and ensure the customer is fully convinced on product quality. Take proactive initiatives to satisfy customer needs. Plan regular customer visits to keep in touch with them and introduce new product lines. Acquire product knowledge and advise the customers wherever necessary. Support the team with technical inputs and revert to the customers on technical queries by conducting lab/industrial trials with the customer. Liaise with the principals for any new developments in the product category and update the customer, Conduct seminars and training program for the sales team on current and new products. Efficiently handle customer complaints and escalate sensitive issues to the senior management, Prepare quarterly newsletter for the division and answer customer queries. Generate all relevant reports for future reference, effective use the CRM system, ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives. The incumbent should a science graduate preferably be a Food / Dairy Technologist, with 6-10 years of Technical sales experience in food industry. He should be in the age group of 28-35 years and have thorough understanding of food ingredients, should be able to conduct trials, communicate effectively and solve complaints. Should be able to take on new projects and convert them into potential orders.
