A drilling engineer develops, plans, estimate costs, schedules and supervises the operations necessary to the process of drilling oil and gas wells, from initial well design to testing, completion and abandonment

The role can involve administering drilling and service contracts, engineering design and the planning of wells, and supervising the drilling crew on site.

 Drilling engineers work with other professionals, such as geologists and geoscientists & HSESR personnel, to monitor drilling progress, oversee safety management and ensure the protection of the environment.

Education, Skills & Experience required:

·         Mechanical, Petroleum engineering background

·         Between 1-10 years of experience

·         Well control certification

·         Experience in onshore drilling, offshore drilling is a plus

·         Experience in deviated and horizontal wells is a plus

·          Under balanced drilling experience is a plus

·         International company exposure preferred .

Experience :

·          Good understanding of geology and reservoir engineering

·          Knowledge of cementing techniques and latest technologies

·          Knowledge of openhole logging techniques and latest technologies

·          Knowledge of stimulation techniques and latest technologies

·          Knowledge of artificial lifting techniques and latest technologies

·          Strong affiliation with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Microsoft projects
