Job Title: HR Officer
Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment: Screens CVs and refers to line managers for shortlisting. Obtains application forms of shortlisted candidates. Arranges interviews and coordinate travel arrangements. Collect all documents (passport copies, qualifications, etc.) for candidates being made offers. Maintain a databank of CVs. File all documents from completed campaigns.

• New Joiners: Coordinates joining arrangements for new employees, as per new joiner checklist, conducts orientation, Monitors that department heads provide feedback on completion of probation.

• Compensation and Benefits: Processes leave applications and maintains leave records. Follows-up resumption of duty forms and verify leave against monthly timesheets report. Enters data for staff payroll (new joiners, leavers, salary and allowance changes, leave / unpaid leave / sick leave days). Verifies the payment of temporary allowances in the payroll each month.

• Performance Management: Provides guidance to Managers and staff on the effective implementation of the performance management system. Guides Managers to counsel poor performers.

• Training: Analyses department training requirements and assists in the compilation of the annual training plan. Coordinates attendance at training events and maintains training records.

• Organisation Development: Establishes a relationship with allocated departments and provides ongoing support and advice to the Managers and staff in these departments. Encourages communication at all levels. Assess and monitor the climate and culture within these departments. Identify and provides recommendations for addressing any problem areas.

• Leavers: Prepares final settlements and complete requirements as per exit checklist. Conducts exit interviews.

• Maintains monthly staff statistics of new joiners, leavers, reassignments, and salary and allowance changes.

• Filing: Files all employee documents and correspondence, related to the above mentioned duties.
